Hinchingbrooke is on the outskirts of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, in the south-east of England. It was the land belonging to the Earls of Sandwich who lived in Hinchingbrooke House. Before that it was the home of Thomas Cromwell, ancestor of Oliver Cromwell. It was also the workplace of Samuel Pepys, who was secretary to Lord Montagu.
